The Denver Hospice

The Denver Hospice cares for the elderly at the end of their long, rich lives, those struck far too young by advanced illness, offers comfort to those who choose to battle their life-limiting illness, offers comfort and grief counseling to families and friends.

How You Can Help

​The Denver Hospice relies on generous donations to provide quality services each day:

  • $25 provides a patient with aromatherapy products to use throughout their stay.
  • $50 ensures a needy patient the use of a wheelchair for their entire stay in our care.
  • $50 pays for one month’s worth of individual and group adult grief counseling.
  • $100 covers one day of compassionate end-of-life care for an uninsured individual residing at home.
  • $250 provides a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to aid a patient with personal care needs for one month.
  • $500 sponsors anticipatory grief counseling and follow-up bereavement groups for a child and their siblings facing a difficult loss.
  • $1,000 provides one week of in-home hospice care facilitated by our interdisciplinary team members, including, Social Workers, Chaplains, nurses, CNAs, and all 24-hr care that may be needed.
  • $2,500 provides an uninsured patient with two weeks of care by their interdisciplinary team, and visits as needed from one of our world class doctors.
  • $5,000 sponsors an uninsured patient for one month of hospice care, including all medications, equipment, complementary therapies, and bereavement support.
  • ANY AMOUNT can help with funding our new children’s therapist at the Care Center – or any of our other wonderful programs and services.
