Night RN, Full Time
Responsible for hospice care management and discharge plans of inpatient hospice patient/family unit in consultation with the Primary Physician and The Denver Hospice Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) and Care Center Manager. Shifts are 3 12 hours shifts
Driving is required with paid travel time and mileage. The Denver Hospice ALWAYS accepts applications/resumes for skilled and compassionate Float and/or Pool staff (inc. RN’s, CNA’s, LSW’s, LCSW’s).
Night time RNs Full time -
Offer telephone advice and make nursing visits to terminally ill patients and families in crisis during the night. You would visit our hospice clients in private homes, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living residences, and hospitals. This position calls for strong nursing assessment and critical thinking skills to support patients and families through the dying process Hospice experience is preferred, but not essential. This is an ideal position for a strong clinical nurse who wants a career shift toward palliative care nursing through our comprehensive orientation. This position requires at least 2 years of prior medical surgical, ICU, or ER experience. Generous reimbursement for mileage and salary is provided. We are accepting RN applications for all shifts.
CNAs, West NH full time and South Home half time -
Responsible for providing hospice patient with personal care tasks as assigned and within the guidelines established by federal and state regulations. Participates as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team. Maintains accurate and timely records and keeps supervisor informed of patient status. Acquires 12 CEU's per year to meet federal regulations for certification. Must have reliable transportation, clean driving record, driver’s license and current Colorado CNA’s license.

Chief Medical Officer-
Actively participates as member of administrative team ensuring organization maintains position of hospice/palliative care leadership in the Rocky Mountain Region. Position encompasses three key areas of responsibility defined as executive, marketing, and clinical leadership. Key participant in organizational strategic planning. Serves as representative to the Board of Directors and is a member of the senior (executive) team. Key representative of the organization in marketing and community education efforts with professional health care and client community.
Is the primary clinical leader providing oversight and direction of the physician medical staff and is a close associate of the Vice President of Clinical Operations in establishing clinical protocols, and processes that meet all regulatory and compliance standards. Requirements: Current Colorado Medical License and in good standing with the medical board., Board-certified IM or FP; Board-certified or qualified in hospice/palliative medicine, Preferred experience: 5 years experience in Hospice/Palliative Care, Experience with quality improvement methodology, Experience with medical informatics, Experience with medical and business ethics activities.
