The Denver Hospice cares for the elderly at the end of their long, rich lives, those struck far too young by advanced illness, offers comfort to those who choose to battle their life-limiting illness, offers comfort and grief counseling to families and friends.

Employee of the Season

The Denver Hospice understands that its employees are what makes this organization a great place to work and what elevates The Denver Hospice to be a world-class provider of end-of-life care. In order to recognize the outstanding caregivers and support staff, there is an Employee of the Season celebration each season to celebrate one deserving employee who has consistently gone above and beyond in his or her work or who really lives our Values.

 Susan Hall and Sophia Painter!   
 

   "Susan is a consistently strong performer and many nurses with whom she works have said they see her as someone who “goes above and beyond.” I frequently receive positive comments from patients and family members about Susan. She gets her documentation done same day, and she has had scores between 95-100% between January and May of this year. She served on the Visit Design committee last year. She is a true asset to our organization."     

"Sophia is an outstanding CNA in every measurable way I can think. She is an exceptional role model and consistently goes beyond the call of duty. She conveys the values of TDH in the way she cares for her patients and her genuine love and concern for people is a beautiful and tangible demonstration of humanity."
